California State Esports Case Study

California State University, Chico

What We Did

Esport Supply assisted California State University, Chico in repurposing a space on campus to be deemed the new Wildcat Student Gaming Lobby.

Esport Supply began by conducting a thorough analysis of California State Chico’s esports program. We assessed the current state of the program, including the number of participants, available resources, and the school’s goals for the future of esports. Based on the findings, Esport Supply helped equip CSUC with 13 fully fitted gaming stations. The space features a diverse array of video games, PC games, board games, and even a vintage Pac Man game.

  • 13 Gaming PC’s & peripherals
  • Project Management
  • 2D design and 3D design
  • Infrastructure analysis
  • Internet review
  • LAN management software
  • Lounge area
  • 1 Console gaming hub
  • Coach’s room
The lobby officially opened on September 1st, 2022

It serves as a place for members of the esports gaming club as well as students who just want to hang out and play video games. The space provides a sense of community and a positive social atmosphere

Overall, Esport Supply’s work on California State Chico’s new esports arena was a resounding success. By taking the time to understand the school’s unique needs and goals, Esport Supply was able to create a customized solution that met the school’s needs and exceeded their expectations. The new esports arena has become a valuable asset to the school’s athletic program, providing students with a state-of-the-art facility to compete and train in the exciting world of esports.
